The Haryana Public Service Commission has issued the admit cards for the Combined Subject Knowledge Test for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Computer Science and Lecturer Information and Technology recruitment examinations. Candidates who registered for the recruitment process can now download their hall tickets from the official website, starting from May 11, 2026.

The recruitment campaign aims to fill 1,672 vacancies for the post of PGT Computer Science in the Secondary Education Department of Haryana. The official recruitment notification was released on February 5, 2026, while online applications were accepted between February 16 and March 9, 2026.

Revised Examination Schedule

According to the latest notification issued by HPSC, the Subject Knowledge Test for PGT Computer Science posts under Advertisement No. 23/2026 has been rescheduled. The examination, which was originally planned for May 10, 2026, will now be conducted on May 17, 2026.

The test will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for candidates belonging to both the Rest of Haryana cadre and the Mewat cadre. During the same session, the commission will also conduct a combined Subject Knowledge Test for Lecturer Information and Technology posts under Advertisement No. 19/2026 in the Development and Panchayats Department.

Guidelines for Admit Card Download

The commission has instructed candidates to download and print their admit cards on A-4 size paper. It also emphasized that the photograph and signature printed on the hall ticket must be clearly visible for identity verification at the examination centre.

Candidates carrying blurred or improperly printed admit cards may not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Applicants have further been advised to read all instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully before appearing for the test.

Recruitment Eligibility and Selection Process

The recruitment is being conducted for the position of Post Graduate Teacher in Computer Science. Applicants are required to possess qualifications such as M.Sc in Computer Science, MCA, BE, or B.Tech with at least 55 percent marks, along with a valid HTET or STET qualification.

The minimum age requirement for the recruitment is 18 years, while the upper age limit is 42 years. March 9, 2026, has been fixed as the reference date for age calculation. Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government norms.

The selection process includes:

• Written Examination

• Subject Knowledge Test

• Interview

• Document Verification

• Medical Examination

The application fee for General, OBC, and candidates from other states was Rs 1,000, while SC, ST, PWD, and EWS candidates were required to pay Rs 250 through online payment mode.
