National Testing Agency has opened the registration process for the ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 and AICE-JRF/SRF 2026 examinations. These national-level entrance tests are conducted on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agricultural and allied sciences for the 2026–27 academic session.

Eligible candidates can submit their application forms online through the official NTA ICAR portal. As per the notification, the registration process began on May 8, 2026, and the last date to apply is June 7, 2026, until 5 PM.

Applicants can pay the examination fee through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI up to 11:50 PM on June 7, 2026.

The agency has also announced a correction window for students who wish to make changes to their application forms. The editing facility will be available from June 9 to June 10, 2026.

ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 exam date

The ICAR AIEEA (PG) 2026 and AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 examinations are scheduled to be conducted on July 4, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

The entrance test will be held in around 122 cities across India. Officials have confirmed that the examination will be conducted only in English.

Exam pattern and duration

The examination will include objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will receive a total duration of two hours (120 minutes) to complete the test. Questions will be based on subjects related to agricultural and allied sciences for postgraduate and doctoral admissions.

• Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

• Take a printout of the application form and fee receipt for future use.

The NTA has not yet announced the release dates for the advance city intimation slip or admit cards. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates regarding exam centres and hall ticket availability.
