Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has announced the results of the Eklavya Model Residential School Selection Test 2026. The entrance examination was held on March 29, 2026, at multiple centres across the state.

As per the board’s official statement released on Friday, 959 students had registered for the examination. Of these, 862 candidates appeared, while 97 were absent. The appeared candidates included 433 girls and 429 boys.

The board stated that the result was prepared using the final answer key. Before finalising it, a provisional answer key had been published and objections raised by candidates were examined by subject experts.

Steps to check HPBOSE EMRSST 2026 result

Students can access their results by following these instructions:

• Visit the official website of HPBOSE.

• Open the “EMRSST” section.

• Enter the roll number or application number.

• Submit the required details.

• The result will be displayed on the screen.

• Download and keep a copy for future use.

The board also informed that all examination records and related documents will be transferred to authorised officials of the Himachal Pradesh Tribal Development Department and the Eklavya Model Residential School Management Committee.

Admission procedures for EMRS schools will now be conducted by the state Tribal Development Department along with the EMRS management committee based on the merit list.
