The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially announced the results of the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 on May 8. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can now access their results and download the rank card through the official website, vit.ac.in.

To check the result, students need to log in using their application number, password, and registered email ID.

The VITEEE 2026 result has been released in the form of a rank card, which will be used for admission and counselling for BTech programmes offered at different VIT campuses.

How to Download VITEEE 2026 Rank Card

Candidates can follow these steps to access their results online:

• First visit the official website.

• Click on the “VITEEE 2026 Results” link on the homepage.

• Enter the application number and password.

• Submit the login details.

• The VITEEE 2026 rank card will appear on the screen.

• Download and keep a copy for future use.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling Process

Students who qualify in the entrance examination will be eligible to participate in the counselling process, which will be conducted in multiple phases according to candidates’ ranks.

VIT is expected to announce the complete counselling schedule and admission guidelines soon.

The examination is held annually for admission to BTech courses offered at VIT campuses in:

• Vellore

• Chennai

• Andhra Pradesh

• Bhopal

• Bengaluru

VITEEE 2026 Exam Pattern

The VITEEE 2026 examination was conducted from April 28 to May 3 in two sessions each day. Candidates were able to check their exam date, allotted city, and shift timing through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS).

The test consisted of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer carried four marks, while one mark was deducted for every incorrect answer. No negative marking was applied to unanswered or review-marked questions.
