The Vellore Institute of Technology is set to announce the VITEEE Result 2026 today, May 8, at 7 pm. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination will be able to view and download their scorecards through the official portal.

The VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 was conducted between April 28 and May 3 for admission to undergraduate engineering courses offered at different VIT campuses.

To access the result, candidates will need their registered email ID, application number, and password.

Steps to Download VITEEE Result 2026

Candidates can follow these instructions to check their scorecards online:

• First visit the VITEEE official website.

• Click on the “VITEEE 2026 Result” link available on the homepage.

• Enter the application number, password, and captcha code.

• Submit the details.

• The result and scorecard will appear on the screen.

• Download and save the scorecard for future use.

Candidates facing issues while accessing their scorecards can contact the admission authorities through the official helpline or email support provided by the institute.

VITEEE 2026 Counselling Process

After the result declaration, the institute will begin the counselling registration process and publish the complete counselling schedule online.

Qualified candidates will be invited for online counselling according to their ranks. During this process, applicants can choose their preferred campus, engineering programme, and fee category.

Seat allocation will be based on:

• Candidate’s rank

• Course and campus preferences

• Availability of seats

Candidates securing ranks up to one lakh will be eligible for counselling at all four campuses:

• VIT Vellore

• VIT Chennai

• VIT-AP

• VIT Bhopal

Applicants with ranks above one lakh will be eligible for counselling only at VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses.

The institute has clarified that provisional admission will be confirmed only after successful document verification and fulfilment of all eligibility conditions.
