Tamil Nadu School Education Department will announce the TN HSC Result 2026 on Friday, May 8, at 9:30 am. More than eight lakh students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board examinations will be able to check their results through multiple platforms, including official websites, DigiLocker, SMS, and WhatsApp services.

To reduce inconvenience caused by heavy website traffic after the result declaration, the department has arranged several alternative methods for students to access their marks. Candidates will need their registration number and date of birth to download the scorecard online.

How to Check TN HSC Result 2026 via DigiLocker

Students can use DigiLocker to view and save their digital marksheets online. Follow these steps:

• First visit DigiLocker Results Portal on a mobile device or computer.

• Log in using the registered mobile number. New users can create an account using an Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

• Click on the Tamil Nadu Class 12 result link displayed on the homepage.

• Enter the registration number and date of birth.

• Submit the details to access the digital marksheet.

• Download and save the result for future use.

TN HSC Result 2026 Through SMS

The Tamil Nadu education department will also send result details through SMS to students’ registered mobile numbers submitted during the school registration process.

Students are not required to register separately for this facility. Once the results are declared, score details will be automatically shared through SMS. This service has been introduced to ensure students can receive their marks even if websites become slow due to high traffic.
