The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the provisional answer key for NEET UG 2026 on the official website. Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test can now access the answer key for all question paper sets online.

NTA has also informed candidates that they will be allowed to challenge the provisional answer key once the scanned OMR response sheets are uploaded. To raise objections regarding the answer key or OMR grading, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.

According to the official notification, the dates for uploading OMR sheets and submitting challenges will be announced separately.

Steps to Download NEET UG Answer Key 2026

• First visit the NEET official website.

• Click on the “NEET UG Answer Key 2026” link available on the homepage.

• Enter the required login credentials on the new page.

• Submit the details to view the answer key.

• Download and verify the answer key carefully.

• Take a printout for future reference.

The NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted on May 3, 2026, in offline (pen-and-paper) mode from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam took place at more than 5,432 centres located across 551 cities in India and 14 international cities. Around 22.79 lakh candidates had registered for the examination.

The paper consisted of 180 questions carrying a total of 720 marks.
