Description
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has opened the registration window for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) supplementary examination 2026. The exams are scheduled to be conducted in June–July 2026. This opportunity allows students who could not clear one or more subjects to improve their performance without repeating the academic year.

Students who have failed in one or more subjects
Candidates who wish to improve their marks
Private candidates
Students applying under Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and Transfer of Credit schemes

The board has released the application timeline as follows:
Regular application period: May 5 to May 15, 2026
Late application period: May 16 to May 20, 2026
Last date for fee payment (RTGS/NEFT): May 22, 2026
Students are encouraged to apply within the regular timeframe to avoid additional late fees.
Key instructions for students
All applications submitted by students will be verified by their respective junior colleges or institutions before final approval. Candidates must carefully review their printed application forms and provide their signature to confirm accuracy of the details.
Institutions are responsible for transferring examination fees to the board through RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) or NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) methods.
Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Exam schedule
The HSC supplementary examinations will take place in June–July 2026. The detailed timetable and admit card release dates will be announced later by the board.
