The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has declared the final results for the Security Assistant/Motor Transport (SA/MT) recruitment examination 2025 on May 4, 2026. Candidates who participated in the selection process can now view the list of shortlisted applicants on the official website, mha.gov.in.

The final selection has been prepared on the basis of performance in both Tier-I and Tier-II examinations. The Tier-I stage was a computer-based test conducted on October 30, 2025. Candidates who cleared this stage were called for Tier-II, which included a driving and motor mechanism test along with an interview held between March 9 and March 19, 2026.

The result has been published in PDF format containing the roll numbers of selected candidates. The list is arranged region-wise and roll number-wise for easy reference. It is important to note that the list is not in order of merit.

Candidates whose roll numbers are marked with “(P)” are provisionally selected and must complete pending document verification requirements.

• First visit the official website.

• Click on the link for “IB Security Assistant Final Result 2026”

• Open the PDF file displayed

• Search your roll number using the search option

• Download and save the result for future use

The selection process is not the final stage of appointment. Candidates will still need to clear document verification, medical examination, and background verification as per recruitment rules.
