Description

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) have released the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Admit Card 2026 under CEN 07/2025. Candidates appearing for the CBT-1 examination can now download their hall tickets from the official regional RRB websites.

The admit cards are being issued in phases, depending on the exam date, and are made available four days before the scheduled examination. Candidates are advised to download them as soon as they are released for their respective shifts.

Exam schedule and admit card release

The CBT-1 examination for NTPC undergraduate posts will be conducted on multiple dates:

  • May 7, 8, and 9, 2026

  • June 13, 14, and June 16 to 21, 2026

Admit cards are being released in a staggered manner, aligned with the exam schedule. For example, candidates appearing on May 7 received their admit cards on May 3, 2026. A similar pattern is being followed for all other exam dates, with hall tickets issued four days prior to the respective test.

Exam city information is being shared around 10 days before the examination to help candidates plan their travel.

Vacancy and eligibility details

This recruitment drive covers 3,058 undergraduate-level NTPC posts. Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board to be eligible.

Age limit:

  • 18 to 30 years (as on January 1, 2026)

  • Age relaxation applicable as per government rules

Exam pattern

The CBT-1 exam consists of 100 objective questions for 100 marks, divided as follows:

  • General Awareness: 40 questions

  • Mathematics: 30 questions

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions

The total duration is 90 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer. The exam is conducted in computer-based mode.

Candidates can download their hall ticket by following these steps:

  • Visit the official regional RRB website

  • Click on the NTPC UG Admit Card 2026 link

  • Enter registration number and date of birth

  • Access the dashboard and download the admit card

  • Take a printout for examination use
