Description

The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh has opened the process for recounting and re-verification of answer scripts for the SSC Public Examinations, March 2026, after announcing the results. Students who wish to have their papers reviewed must submit their requests through their respective schools within the specified dates.

The AP SSC Result 2026 was declared on April 30, 2026, at 11 am. This year, the overall pass percentage reached 85.25%, improving from last year’s 81.14%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass rate of 87.90%, compared to 82.68% among boys.

Application process via schools

The window for submitting applications is open from May 1 to May 7, 2026. Students cannot apply individually; instead, they must contact their schools. School authorities will handle submissions through the official online portal, where a user guide is also available to assist with the process.

Fees and payment details

The fee for recounting is Rs 500 per subject, while re-verification costs Rs 1,000 per subject. Payments must be made online through the official website using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, or UPI. The board has clearly stated that payments via CFMS Citizen Challan will not be accepted.

Access to answer scripts

Students applying for re-verification will receive access to their answer sheets through school logins. Additionally, scanned copies will be shared via WhatsApp Governance under the Mana Mitra service, allowing students to download them directly using their registered mobile numbers.

Exam and result overview

The SSC exams were conducted from March 16 to April 1, 2026, across Andhra Pradesh. The results were announced in a press briefing by Nara Lokesh, along with details such as pass percentages, district-wise performance, and toppers. Students have been able to check their marks through official websites, DigiLocker, mobile apps, and WhatsApp services.

Previous year trends

In the previous year, 6,14,459 students appeared for the exams, out of which 4,98,585 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 81.14%. The pass rates in earlier years were 89.64% in 2024, 72.26% in 2023, and 64.02% in 2022.

School authorities have been directed to inform all eligible students about the recounting and re-verification process and ensure that applications are submitted within the deadline.
