The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer key along with recorded responses for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026. The exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test mode on April 28, 2026, across various centers in the country. As per the notice issued on May 1, 2026, candidates can now use the objection facility available on the official NTET portal starting from that date.

Candidates who wish to challenge any answer can do so by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question, which is non-refundable. The objection window is open from May 1 to May 3, 2026, and the final deadline for submitting challenges and making payments is 11:50 PM on May 3. Payments can be made through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

To raise objections, applicants need to log in to the NTET portal using their application number and password. After entering the captcha, they can view the question IDs along with the answers provided by the agency. If they wish to dispute any response, they must select the relevant option, upload supporting documents in a single PDF file, and submit the claim before proceeding with payment.

Once all challenges are reviewed, subject experts will evaluate them. If any objection is found valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly and applied to all candidates who attempted that question. Individual notifications regarding acceptance or rejection of challenges will not be sent. The revised final answer key will be considered definitive for preparing and declaring results.
