Description
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially confirmed the schedule for the HSC Result 2026. According to the announcement, Class 12 results will be made available online on May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM through the official result portals.
The declaration comes after the successful completion of examinations held between February and March 2026. The board has ensured that results will be published simultaneously on multiple platforms so that students across the state can access them without difficulty.
Official websites to check results
Students will be able to view their HSC results on results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in, and hscresult.mkcl.org. All candidates who appeared for the exams can download their provisional marksheets from these websites.
In addition, marksheets will also be accessible via the DigiLocker app, allowing students to securely store their digital documents. Junior colleges will also have access to consolidated student results through their official login on the board portal.
Press briefing and result declaration
Before the results are released, the board will hold a press conference at 11:00 AM on May 2, 2026, at its Pune office. Important details regarding exam performance and overall statistics are expected to be shared during this session. The result link will be activated at 1:00 PM.
The examinations were conducted under nine regional divisional boards, including Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Nashik, Amravati, Latur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Konkan.
Re-evaluation and post-result services
After the results are announced, students will be able to apply online for verification of marks and request photocopies of answer sheets for selected subjects. The application window for these services will remain open from May 3 to May 17, 2026, on the official website, subject to payment of the required fee.
For re-evaluation, candidates must first obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet and then apply within five working days of receiving it. Students are advised to contact their respective divisional boards for detailed procedures.
Improvement scheme and supplementary exams
Students who pass the HSC exam will also have the option to improve their scores through the Class Improvement Scheme. They can reappear in up to three consecutive exam sessions: June–July 2026, February–March 2027, and June–July 2027.
The board has also indicated that a separate notification will be released regarding supplementary exams, category corrections, and applications for private candidates.
