The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has released the timetable for the second attempt of the MHT CET 2026–27 admissions cycle. The examination will be conducted between May 9 and May 21, 2026, and a total of 4,92,383 candidates are expected to appear.

This second attempt includes exams for MBA/MMS, Engineering (PCM), Pharmacy, and Agriculture (PCB) programmes. As per the official schedule, the MBA/MMS entrance test will take place on May 9 for 53,931 candidates. The PCB group exams are scheduled for May 10 and May 11, with 1,16,538 students registered. The PCM group examinations will be held from May 12 to May 21, except May 16 and 17, and will be attended by 3,21,914 candidates.

In the first attempt of MHT CET 2026, 8,96,236 students had registered, while 8,33,482 appeared for the exam, marking an attendance rate of 92.99%. A total of 62,754 candidates were absent.

This year, the CET Cell has introduced a dual-attempt system for the first time, similar to the JEE (Main) pattern. Students were allowed to opt for one or both attempts during registration. While appearing in at least one attempt is compulsory, the second attempt is optional.

If a candidate appears in both sessions, the higher percentile score will be considered for admission to professional courses.
