Description

The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC GD Admit Card 2026 on its official website ahead of the examination schedule. Candidates who have applied for the GD Constable recruitment can download their hall tickets online a few days before their respective exam dates.

As per the official update, admit cards are being issued 2 to 3 days before each scheduled exam. The Computer-Based Examination will be conducted from April 27, 2026 to May 30, 2026 across multiple cities in India in different shifts. The city intimation slip had already been released earlier on April 19, 2026.

Importance of admit card

The admit card is a compulsory document for entry into the examination centre. Candidates without a valid hall ticket will not be permitted to appear for the exam under any circumstances. It includes key information such as exam date, shift timing, reporting time, venue details, and important exam-day instructions.

Applicants must carefully check all details mentioned on the admit card. In case of any errors or discrepancies, they should get them corrected in advance to avoid issues on the examination day.

The SSC GD recruitment drive aims to fill 25,487 Constable vacancies. Candidates applying for these posts must have passed Class 10, and the age limit is set between 18 and 23 years as of January 1, 2026, with applicable relaxations as per rules.
