The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 2, allowing candidates to review and raise objections for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning). Along with the answer key, the question papers and recorded responses have also been made available for candidates who appeared in the April 2026 session.

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answers can challenge them through the official online objection portal. The window for submitting challenges is open from April 25, 2026 to April 27, 2026 (until 11:50 PM). No objections will be accepted after the deadline under any circumstances. Each challenge requires a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question, payable via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

After the objection period closes, a panel of subject experts will review all submitted challenges. If any correction is found valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly and applied uniformly to all candidates. However, individual responses regarding acceptance or rejection of challenges will not be shared.

Steps to download and challenge JEE Main 2026 answer key

Candidates can follow these steps to access the answer key on the official portal:

• First visit the JEE Main official website.

• Click on the link for ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’

• Log in using Application Number, Password, and Captcha code

• Access the question paper and answer key for Paper 2A and 2B

• Select the questions you wish to challenge

• Upload supporting documents in PDF format (if required)

• Submit the claim and review the summary

• Proceed to payment of Rs 200 per question to finalize the challenge
