Description

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the official notification for the SSC CHSL Examination 2026 soon for recruitment to various Group C posts under different departments of the Central Government. This annual examination is conducted for candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent qualification.

Once the notification is released, eligible candidates will be able to apply online through the official SSC website within the specified registration window.

SSC CHSL 2026 Posts

The CHSL exam is conducted for recruitment to posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). These positions are available in various ministries and departments of the Government of India.

Vacancies are allotted based on departmental requirements and reservation rules. Final posting is determined by candidate merit, category, and preferences filled during the selection process.

Eligibility and Age Limit

To apply for SSC CHSL 2026, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

The age limit is generally between 18 and 27 years. However, age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government regulations. Candidates must ensure their educational certificates are valid and issued by recognized institutions.

Application Process and Fee

The application fee structure is expected to remain similar to previous years, with exemptions or concessions for women candidates and reserved categories such as SC and ST.

Payments can be made online through debit card, credit card, or net banking via the official SSC portal.

Candidates must complete one-time registration followed by the CHSL application form. Since corrections may be limited, all details should be filled carefully.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The selection process includes Tier I and Tier II objective examinations, followed by skill or typing tests depending on the post.

Tier I will consist of sections such as General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension, and General Awareness.

The Tier I examination is expected to be conducted between July and September 2026.
