The Uttarakhand Board of School Education has released detailed statistics along with the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2026, including participation numbers, pass percentages, and performance breakdowns.

This year, a total of 1,12,266 students registered for the High School examination, out of which 1,08,983 appeared and 1,00,373 successfully passed. For the Intermediate exam, 1,02,986 students applied for participation.

Class 10 Result Statistics

The overall pass percentage for the High School exam stood at 92.10%. Girls performed better with a pass rate of 96.07%, while boys recorded 88.03%.

Category-wise, institutional candidates achieved a pass percentage of 92.47%, whereas individual candidates recorded 65.05%.

A total of 7,935 students qualified as honours pass by scoring above 75%. In terms of division-wise results, 30,734 students secured first division, 46,708 obtained second division, and 14,986 were placed in third division.

Class 12 Result Statistics

The Intermediate examination recorded an overall pass percentage of 85.11%. Female students again outperformed male candidates, securing 88.09% compared to 81.93% for boys.

This gender-based performance gap remained a notable trend across both Class 10 and Class 12 results this year.

District-wise Performance

Among districts, Bageshwar district emerged as the top performer. It recorded 96.98% pass percentage in Class 10 and 94.81% in Class 12 examinations.

Top Performers and Merit List

The board reported an overall improvement of 1.33% compared to the previous year. A total of 207 students secured positions in the state merit list.

In Class 10, Akshat Gopal topped the examination with 98.20%. In Class 12, Geetika Pant and Sushila Mendiratta jointly secured the first rank with 98%.

Improvement Exam Results

The High School Improvement Examination recorded a pass percentage of 68.67%, reflecting performance variation among reappearing candidates.

Overall, the 2026 UBSE results provide a clear statistical overview of student performance, participation trends, and academic outcomes across the state.
