Description
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is set to begin the IPU Common Entrance Test 2026 for admissions to various programmes for the 2026–27 academic session starting April 25. The exams will be conducted at multiple centres across Delhi over several weekends.
Admit Card Availability
According to Controller of Examinations Dr. S. L. Bhandarkar, admit cards for exams scheduled on April 25 and 26 have already been released. Candidates must download their hall tickets from the university’s official website before their exam date.

Courses Scheduled for April 25–26
On April 25, entrance tests will be held for programmes such as MA Mass Communication, B.Tech Biotechnology, Lateral Entry BS Packaging, MSc Medicinal Chemistry & Drug Design, MCA/MCA (SE), BA JMC, and Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance & Counseling.
On April 26, exams will be conducted for MOT (Neurology), MA English, BHMCT, BS Packaging Technology, BSc Yoga, and MSc Bioinformatics at centres within the university and across Delhi.
Exam Centres and Participation
For the initial two days, the university has arranged 15 exam centres in Delhi. A total of 13 programmes will be covered during this period, with around 5,484 candidates expected to appear. The exams will follow the traditional OMR-based format and will be conducted in two shifts each day.
Exam Schedule
The CET exams will continue on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) until May 23. The morning session will run from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This schedule has been planned to accommodate a large number of candidates.
Overall Participation and Extended Centres
As per official estimates, nearly 50,531 candidates will appear for CETs across 78 programmes. Exams scheduled for May 9 and 10 (except PhD programmes) will also be conducted outside Delhi NCR in cities such as Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Kolkata.

Important Instructions
Admit cards for each CET will be released around five to six days prior to the respective exam date. Candidates must download them from the official website, as no changes in exam date, shift, or centre will be allowed under any circumstances.
Additionally, a single question paper will be used for CET codes 119 and 124, which are related to paramedical courses offered by the university.
