The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has set the final deadline for B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026 applications for today, with the submission window closing at 5 PM. Candidates interested in undergraduate nursing and allied health science programmes must complete their registration within the given timeframe.

The national-level admission process covers B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing, Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing, and several allied health courses. Selection will be carried out through a computer-based entrance examination, followed by counselling and course-specific admission procedures.

These courses are offered across multiple AIIMS institutions, including Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Rishikesh, Raipur, Nagpur, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Bibinagar, Kalyani, and Bathinda. Candidates will choose their preferred institutes during counselling based on merit rank.

Application schedule and fee details

The application process began on March 25, 2026, and closes today. Application status will be announced on April 29, 2026, followed by a correction window from April 29 to May 3, 2026.

• General/OBC: Rs 2000

• SC/ST/EWS: Rs 1600

• PwBD candidates: Exempted from fee

Payments can be made online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Entrance exam schedule

The entrance tests will be conducted in computer-based mode on different dates:

• B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing: June 27, 2026

• Post-Basic Nursing: May 30, 2026

• Allied courses: July 4, 2026

Admit cards for B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing are expected to be released on June 19, 2026.

Selection process

Candidates must complete both basic and final registration stages, as incomplete applications will not be accepted. No modifications will be allowed after final submission.

After the examination, a merit list will be prepared. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling and seat allocation, with final admission based on rank and availability of seats.
