Description

Registration for JEE (Advanced) 2026 has officially started on April 23, 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications through the official website.

JEE Advanced is one of India’s most competitive national-level entrance exams, conducted for admission into undergraduate, integrated master’s, and dual degree programmes at prestigious institutions like IITs and IISc. This year, the exam is being organized by Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.

Only candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2026 are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced, except for international applicants who can apply directly if they meet the required criteria.

JEE Advanced 2026: Important Dates

  • Registration Starts: April 23, 2026

  • Last Date to Apply: May 4, 2026

  • Admit Card Release: May 11, 2026

  • Exam Date: May 17, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must rank among the top 2.5 lakh in the BE/BTech paper of JEE Main 2026. Applicants should have been born on or after October 1, 2001, with a five-year age relaxation applicable for SC, ST, and PwD categories. Candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts in consecutive years.

Steps to Apply for JEE Advanced 2026

  • First visit the official website.

  • Click on the registration link for JEE Advanced 2026.

  • Log in using JEE Main credentials.

  • Fill in the application form with required details.

  • Pay the application fee.

  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

  • Keep a printout for future reference.

Application Fee

  • Rs 3,200 for General category candidates

  • Rs 1,600 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates

Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode and will consist of two mandatory papers—Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper will include questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and will be available in both English and Hindi.

Each paper will have a duration of three hours. However, candidates in the PwD category opting for a scribe will be given four hours to complete the exam.

Candidates are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline and begin focused preparation for the examination.
