Reserve Bank of India has released the recruitment notification for Junior Engineer posts for the 2026 cycle. The vacancies are available in both Civil and Electrical engineering streams. This recruitment aims to appoint technical staff responsible for maintaining and supervising infrastructure across various RBI offices in India.

As per the official notice, the selection process will be carried out in two phases. The first stage will be an online written examination, followed by a Language Proficiency Test for candidates who qualify the written exam.

• Fee Payment Deadline: May 6, 2026

• Online Exam Date: June 6, 2026 (tentative)

Vacancy Details

Reserve Bank of India has announced a total of 11 Junior Engineer vacancies:

• Civil Engineering: 7 posts

• Electrical Engineering: 4 posts

These positions are distributed across different RBI zones, including North, South, East, West, and Central regions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a diploma or degree in the relevant engineering field:

• Civil posts: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering

• Electrical posts: Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years as of April 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
