Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has released the UCEED 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment result on April 21, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) can now check their allotment status and download the result from the official website.

The counselling and seat allocation process is conducted for admission into B.Des programs across participating institutes, including Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur.

• Click on the link for “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result.”

• Log in using the required credentials.

• View your allotment status and download the result file.

Important Instructions for Admission

• Seat Acceptance Fee: Selected candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee within the given deadline, failing which their allotment will be cancelled.

• Declining Seat: Candidates who reject the allotted seat will not be considered for future rounds.

• Vacant Seats: Seats left vacant due to non-payment or rejection will be filled in later rounds (Rounds 2 to 5).

Seat Allotment Options

• If allotted the first preference, candidates can either Freeze (accept and exit counselling) or Decline the offer.

• If allotted a lower preference (2nd to 5th), candidates can Freeze or Float. The Float option allows them to stay in the counselling process for higher preferences while keeping the current seat provisionally.

• Candidates opting for Float do not need to pay the seat acceptance fee again if upgraded later.

Refund Policy

• Applicable only for candidates withdrawing in Round I or II.

• Refund after deduction of Rs 5,000 processing fee:

  • Rs 55,000 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL

  • Rs 10,000 for SC/ST/PwD

• No refund will be given for withdrawals after Round III.

Important Schedule Highlights

• Rounds III, IV, and V are conducted only for vacant seats.

• The Float option remains valid only up to the Round IV payment deadline.

• After Round V, no withdrawal or seat rejection is allowed.
