The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will close the registration window for Class 10 and Class 12 second board (improvement) examinations today, April 22, 2026. Students who are eligible and wish to appear must complete the application process through the official website mpbse.nic.in before the deadline.

To apply, candidates need to log in using their roll number, select the subjects they want to improve or reappear in, and pay the required examination fee online. The improvement exams are scheduled to start from May 7, 2026.

As per the timetable, Class 10 improvement examinations will end on May 19, 2026, while Class 12 exams will continue until May 25, 2026. All papers will be conducted in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Students who did not clear one or more subjects in the main board exams are required to reappear in those papers. Those who have already passed can also opt to improve their marks in selected subjects. Only candidates who were registered for the main examination are eligible to apply for this second board exam.

MPBSE 2nd Board Exam 2026: Fee Structure

• 1 subject: Rs 500

• 2 subjects: Rs 1,000

• 3–4 subjects: Rs 1,500

• More than 4 subjects: Rs 2,000

How to Apply for MPBSE Improvement Exam 2026

• Visit the MPBSE MP Online portal

• Click on “Counter Based Forms” on the homepage

• Select “Examination II (Supplementary/Improvement) 2026”

• Choose Class 10 or Class 12 and application type

• Enter your main exam roll number

• Select the subjects for improvement

• Pay the fee via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI

• Download and save the application receipt for future reference
