The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city intimation slip for the NTET (National Teachers Eligibility Test) 2026. Candidates who applied for the exam can now check their allotted exam city through the official website.

The NTET 2026 application process began on March 11, 2026, and the last date to submit applications was April 2, 2026, while fee payment was accepted until April 3, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 28, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, with a duration of 2 hours (120 minutes).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed postgraduate studies in Indian Systems of Medicine or Homoeopathy are eligible to apply for the teaching eligibility test. For Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani streams, applicants must have completed at least 30 months of academic study along with a mandatory one-year internship.

It is important to note that the city intimation slip only provides exam city details and is not the admit card. The official hall ticket will be released separately.

Candidates can follow these steps:

• First visit the official website of NTA

• Click on the link “NTET 2026 City Intimation Slip” on the homepage

• You will be redirected to the login page

• Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password

• Fill in the captcha code displayed on the screen

• Click on Submit/Login

• The city intimation slip will appear on the screen

• Download and print it for reference
