The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a clarification regarding a notice circulating on social media about the Teacher Recruitment Competitive Examination (TRE 4.0) under Advertisement No. XX/2026. The Commission has stated that the information being shared about application dates is false and has not been officially released.

BPSC, headquartered at 15 Nehru Path, Bailey Road, Patna – 800001, has advised candidates to depend only on its official website and verified communication channels for authentic updates related to recruitment and examinations.

Clarification on Fake Notice

The Commission confirmed that a viral notice claiming TRE 4.0 application dates from 25/04/2026 to 28/05/2026 is not genuine. It has not been issued or approved by BPSC in any form.

Official Position of BPSC

According to the Commission, any genuine notification regarding TRE 4.0, including eligibility criteria, application process, and important instructions, will be published only on its official website. No such application schedule has been announced yet.

The Controller of Examinations has also emphasized that the circulating notice is misleading and has no connection with any official communication from BPSC.

Advisory to Candidates

Candidates and the general public are strongly advised not to rely on or circulate unverified information. They should check all updates only through the official website before taking any action related to recruitment.

BPSC has further clarified that any future updates regarding TRE 4.0 will be released exclusively through official channels, and no social media posts should be considered authentic.
