Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) on April 20, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now view and download their scorecards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
As per the official announcement, 26 candidates have achieved a perfect 100 percentile score in this session, emerging as top performers of the year. To access their results, candidates must log in using their application number along with their password or date of birth.
The NTA has also published the final answer key along with the results. It is noted that two questions from the Physics section in the April 4 morning shift have been removed from evaluation.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Exam Overview
The Session 2 examination was conducted in April 2026 in multiple shifts under Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. It was held across 584 centres in 319 cities, including 15 international locations. The exam was conducted in 13 languages, such as English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Around 11.10 lakh candidates registered for the exam, while more than 10.34 lakh appeared. Based on combined performance in Session 1 and Session 2, approximately the top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for JEE Advanced 2026.

100 Percentile Achievers
A total of 26 candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), with representation from multiple states including Telangana, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh.
JEE Advanced 2026 Cut-Off
The qualifying percentile for JEE Advanced 2026 is as follows:
General (UR): 93.41
EWS: 82.41
OBC-NCL: 80.92
SC: 63.97
ST: 52.01
These cut-offs are based on Session 2 performance. NTA has also clarified that percentile scores are normalised across shifts to maintain fairness. For candidates who appeared in both sessions, the best score among the two has been considered for final ranking.
Session 1 Recap
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 was conducted from January 21 to January 29, with results declared on February 16. Over 13 lakh candidates appeared in that phase.
What’s Next
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will now proceed to JEE Advanced 2026 for admission into IITs. Results for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Plan) will be released separately by NTA.
