The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the SSC CHSL Answer Key 2026 for candidates who appeared in the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2025 (Tier-II). Applicants can access and download both the tentative answer key and their individual response sheets from the official website, by logging in with their registration number and password.

Along with the release of the answer key, SSC has opened the objection window. Candidates can challenge any answer by submitting a representation along with a fee of Rs 50 per question or answer disputed. The last date to raise objections is April 23, 2026, until 6:00 PM. Any submissions made after this deadline will not be accepted.

Steps to raise objections:

• First visit the SSC official website.

• Log in using your credentials.

• View your answer key.

• Select the question or answer you wish to challenge.

• Upload relevant supporting documents.

• Pay the required fee.

• Submit your objection.

SSC has clarified that the question paper is intended strictly for personal reference and self-assessment. Candidates must agree to an undertaking on the Challenge Management portal confirming this when they log in.

Additionally, SSC will soon activate the Option-cum-Preference link before announcing the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) or final results. A separate notice will be issued with details and timelines for submitting post preferences. Candidates are strongly advised to regularly check the SSC website and their respective regional/sub-regional office websites for updates.

It is important to note that candidates who do not submit their post preferences within the specified time frame will not be considered for any post in the final result.
