The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has extended the deadline for payment and confirmation of examination fees for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) 2026. Students can now complete the fee payment process until April 23, 2026, as per an official press release issued on April 20, 2026.

This extension applies to both first-year and second-year Intermediate students across General and Vocational streams who could not clear one or more subjects in the main examinations and are planning to appear for the supplementary exams.

Supplementary examinations give students another opportunity to pass failed subjects within the same academic year. The board conducts these exams soon after the declaration of main results, followed by a quick evaluation process to support admission timelines for higher education.

Students are allowed to appear only in subjects they have not cleared. Those applying for improvement in marks may also be eligible as per board rules. In such cases, the higher score between the main exam and supplementary exam is considered for the final result. However, internal assessment marks and attendance records remain unchanged.

The board has also released a tentative schedule for IPASE 2026. The theory examinations are expected to be held from May 13 to May 21, 2026. First-year exams will take place in the morning session (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), while second-year exams will be conducted in the afternoon session (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). Practical exams are likely to be held from May 22 to May 25, 2026.

Hall tickets for the supplementary exams will be issued through respective colleges. Students are advised to carefully check their personal details and subject information while collecting them to avoid any errors during the examination process.
