The National Testing Agency has issued a warning to candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026 regarding fake claims of question paper leaks being circulated on social media platforms, particularly Telegram.

With the medical entrance exam approaching, the agency stated that several fraudulent groups are falsely advertising access to NEET UG 2026 question papers. The NTA has clarified that these claims are misleading and has initiated action against such accounts. Students have been advised to stay alert and depend only on official notifications released on the NTA website and its verified social media handles. Authorities also confirmed that many of these fake channels are being identified and blocked.

NEET UG 2026 Exam Date

The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026 (Sunday) in a single shift across India. The exam is conducted for admission into undergraduate medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc Nursing, BVSc & AH, and other related programmes.

Important Exam Day Guidelines

NTA has also issued key instructions for candidates appearing in the exam:

• Candidates must carry a valid photo ID to the examination centre

• Entry will not be permitted without proper identification

• Pens required for OMR sheet marking will be provided at the centre

• Students should wear simple and comfortable clothing

• Avoid heavy accessories, sleeveless outfits, and bulky items

Candidates are advised to strictly follow all official instructions and ignore unverified sources to avoid misinformation and confusion.
