Description

Osmania University has extended the application deadline for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications without a late fee until April 23, 2026, through the official portal.

The registration process began on March 9, 2026. Applicants who are unable to meet the regular deadline will still have the option to apply by paying a late fee, depending on the submission date.

Late Fee Schedule

Candidates applying after the deadline will need to pay the following additional charges:

  • April 28, 2026: Rs 500

  • May 4, 2026: Rs 1,000

  • May 8, 2026: Rs 2,500

  • May 10, 2026: Rs 5,000

  • May 12, 2026: Rs 10,000

The application fee is Rs 500 for SC, ST, and PH candidates, while all other applicants must pay Rs 900. Payments can be made online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

To complete the application process, candidates should:

  • First visit the TS ECET official website.

  • Pay the required application fee.

  • Enter personal, academic, and qualifying exam details.

  • Upload necessary documents.

  • Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.

Subjects Covered

The exam will be conducted for multiple streams including Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, Metallurgy, Pharmacy, and BSc Mathematics.

Exam Pattern

For Engineering Diploma Candidates:

  • Mathematics: 50 marks

  • Physics: 25 marks

  • Chemistry: 25 marks

  • Branch-specific engineering paper: 100 marks

  • Total: 200 marks (3 hours)

For BSc Mathematics Candidates:

  • Mathematics: 100 marks

  • Analytical Ability: 50 marks

  • Communicative English: 50 marks

  • Total: 200 marks

For Pharmacy Candidates:

  • Pharmaceutics: 50 marks

  • Pharmacology: 50 marks

  • Pharmacognosy: 50 marks

  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry: 50 marks

  • Total: 200 marks

Candidates are encouraged to complete their applications within the deadline to avoid paying additional late fees.
