The MHT CET 2026 result is expected to be announced in June 2026 for candidates from both PCM and PCB groups. The results will be published online by the State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, after the completion of examinations conducted in April and May.

Candidates will be able to check their scorecards by logging in using their application number or registered email ID along with their password. The result will include percentile scores and overall marks, which play a key role in determining eligibility for admission to engineering and pharmacy programmes across Maharashtra.

Exam schedule and result timeline

The PCM group exams for session 1 were conducted between April 11 and April 20 (excluding April 12), while PCB exams took place from April 21 to April 26. For session 2, PCM exams are scheduled from May 12 to May 16, and PCB exams are held on May 10 and May 11.

As per the expected timeline, the session 1 results will be released in June 2026, while session 2 results are likely to be announced in July 2026. The exact release time will be confirmed later by the authorities.

Details mentioned in the scorecard

The MHT CET scorecard will contain important information such as candidate name, photograph, signature, parent details, roll number, subject group, and percentile scores for each subject, along with the overall percentile.

The exam follows a no-negative-marking system, allowing candidates to attempt all questions without penalty for incorrect answers. The percentile is calculated using a normalisation method based on performance across sessions.

How to check the result

To download the result, candidates must visit the official website and click on the result link. They need to enter their application number or email ID, date of birth, and captcha code to access their scorecard.

Counselling and tie-breaking rules

Candidates who meet the required cutoff will be eligible for the counselling process for admissions into various colleges under MHT CET 2026.

If two or more candidates secure the same score, the tie will be resolved based on factors such as fewer incorrect answers in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. If the tie still remains, performance in Class 12 marks, subject-wise accuracy, and age preference will be considered in order.
