The National Testing Agency has released the advance exam city intimation slip for candidates registered for NEET UG 2026. This update allows applicants to find out the city where their exam centre will be located well before the test date, helping them plan travel and other arrangements.

Candidates can access the city slip by logging in to the official portal using their application number and date of birth. The agency has made it clear that this document is only for advance information and should not be considered a substitute for the admit card.

Exam schedule and format

The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. The test will take place in 552 cities across India and 14 international locations.

NEET UG is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses and is managed by the National Testing Agency under the supervision of the National Medical Commission.

City slip vs admit card

The NTA has stressed that the city intimation slip is only meant to inform candidates about their allotted exam city in advance. It does not serve as an entry pass to the examination hall.

The official admit card will be released separately at a later date. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with valid identification to be allowed entry into the exam centre.

How to download the city slip

Applicants should visit the official NTA or NEET website and log in using their credentials. After logging in, they can view and download their exam city details.

Candidates are advised to carefully verify all the information mentioned in the slip and become familiar with the exam location ahead of time.
