The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has published the second provisional list for Class 1 admissions for the 2026–27 academic session on April 16, 2026. This list includes candidates selected for seats that remained unfilled after the first provisional list released earlier this month.

Students who do not find their names in the second list still have another opportunity, as KVS is expected to release the third and final provisional list on April 21, depending on the availability of seats. This will be the last round of admissions for the current session.

Documents required for verification

Candidates shortlisted in the second list must be prepared with the necessary documents during the admission process. These include:

• Birth certificate

• Address proof

• Passport-size photographs

• Caste and income certificates (if applicable)

• Service certificate (for government employees)

• Distance declaration form under the RTE category

• Visit the official website of the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya region

• Click on the “Class 1 Admission 2026–27” link on the homepage

• Select “Second Provisional List” or “Lottery Result 2026–27”

• Choose your region, state, and school

• Open the PDF and search for the candidate’s name

• Download and keep a copy for future reference
