Description

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the Class 9 results for the 2026 academic session on April 17, 2026. Students who appeared for the examination can now access their results online through the official websites. In addition to the websites, results are also available via SMS and DigiLocker.

The Class 9 exams were conducted on March 6 and 7, 2026, with over 4 lakh students participating across the state. The results have been prepared using OMR-based evaluation along with internal assessment marks.

How to check JAC Class 9 Result 2026 online

Students can follow these steps to view and download their results:

  • First visit the official website.

  • Click on the “Class 9 Annual Exam Result 2026” link

  • Enter your roll code and roll number

  • Fill in the captcha and submit

  • The result will appear on the screen

  • Download and save it for future reference

How to check result via SMS

In case of heavy traffic on the website, students can use the SMS option:

  • Open the messaging app on your phone

  • Type: JAC9 Roll Number

  • Send it to 5676750

  • The result will be sent via SMS

How to check result through DigiLocker

Students can also access their marksheets digitally by following these steps:

  • Open the DigiLocker app or website

  • Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar

  • Search for “Jharkhand Academic Council” under the Education section

  • Select “Class 9 Marksheet 2026”

  • Enter your roll code and roll number

  • Click on “Get Document” to download

Passing criteria

JAC follows a grading system ranging from A+ to D. Students must secure at least a ‘C’ grade in each subject to pass the examination.

Students should note that the online result is provisional. Original marksheets will be distributed by schools a few days after the announcement. It is also important to verify all details on the scorecard and report any discrepancies to school authorities promptly.
