Description

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has extended the last date to apply for the JENPAS UG 2026 exam. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications online until April 18, 2026 through the official website.

The JENPAS UG exam is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses such as BSc Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT).

JENPAS UG 2026: Important Dates

Candidates should keep track of the following schedule:

  • Last date to apply: April 18, 2026

  • Application correction window: April 20 to April 22, 2026

  • Admit card release: May 29, 2026

  • Exam date: June 7, 2026

The examination will be conducted offline using OMR sheets and will be held in two shifts:

  • Shift 1: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Application Fee Details

The application fee varies by category:

  • General/OBC/EWS: Rs 500 (one paper), Rs 800 (both papers)

  • SC/ST/PwD: Rs 400 (one paper), Rs 650 (both papers)

Paper 1 is mandatory for most courses, while Paper 2 is specifically for the Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA) programme.

JENPAS UG 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of two papers, each of 90 minutes duration. Each paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions with a total of 115 marks.

Subjects covered in the exam include:

  • Physics

  • Chemistry

  • Biological Sciences

  • Basic English

  • Logical Reasoning

The question paper will be available in English and Bengali.

Marking Scheme:

  • Category 1: 1 mark per question with 0.25 negative marking

  • Category 2: 2 marks per question with no negative marking

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent

  • Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English

  • Minimum 45% marks for general category

  • Minimum 40% marks for reserved categories
