The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance exam city intimation slip for candidates registered for NEET UG 2026. This update was shared through an official public notice, informing applicants about the city where their exam centre will be located.

Candidates can download the slip by logging in using their application number and date of birth. The NTA has clearly stated that this document is only meant to inform candidates about their allotted exam city in advance and should not be considered the official admit card.

Exam schedule and format

NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The examination will take place in pen-and-paper mode across 552 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

This entrance exam is held for admission to undergraduate medical courses and is conducted by the National Testing Agency under the supervision of the National Medical Commission.

City slip is not the admit card

The NTA has emphasized that the city intimation slip is not a substitute for the admit card. Its purpose is to help candidates plan their travel and other arrangements in advance. The official admit card will be released separately, and it is mandatory to carry it to the exam centre on the day of the test.

How to download the city intimation slip

Candidates should visit the official NTA or NEET website and log in using their credentials. After logging in, they can view and download details of their allotted exam city.
