This nationwide recruitment is being conducted across various postal circles through an online application system. Candidates from General, OBC, and EWS categories were required to pay an application fee of ?100, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates were exempted. The fee payment was accepted only through online modes.

Vacancy and Eligibility Details

The recruitment drive covers 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak positions. Applicants must have passed Class 10 and should possess knowledge of the local language of the respective postal circle.

The age limit for applicants is 18 to 40 years, calculated as of February 16, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
