The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has issued the official notification for the Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer) Recruitment 2026. The recruitment drive will fill a total of 9,175 vacancies for both male and female candidates across India.

The online application process will begin on April 20, 2026, and will remain open until May 19, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the official CRPF recruitment portal, as offline applications will not be accepted.

• Total Vacancies: 9,175

• Male Candidates: 9,096 posts

• Female Candidates: 79 posts

• Pioneer Wing: 20 posts (all-India basis)

The recruitment includes various trades such as driver, cook, carpenter, tailor, barber, washerman, safai karamchari, and other technical roles.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit:

• Driver post: 21 to 27 years

• Other posts: 18 to 23 years

• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have completed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Certain posts require technical qualifications, ITI certificates, or relevant work experience.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• Trade/Skill Test

• Document Verification (DV)

• Medical Examination

Final selection will be based on performance in the Computer-Based Test, provided candidates qualify in all other stages.

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS Male: Rs 100

• SC/ST/Female/Ex-Servicemen: No fee

Salary Details

Selected candidates will be placed under Pay Level-3, earning between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100 per month.
