Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has issued a detailed recruitment notification for 577 vacancies for the year 2026. The online application process will commence on April 9, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website.

NCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for multiple positions such as Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) Operator (Trainee), Paramedical Staff, and Overseer (Civil). Selected applicants will be Appointed at mines, hospitals, and other establishments located in Singrauli (Madhya Pradesh) and Sonbhadra (Uttar Pradesh).

The online registration process will begin on April 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Candidates can apply until May 1, 2026, by 11:59 PM. The date for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be announced later on the official website.

Vacancy Details

A total of 577 posts are available across various roles. These include positions such as Dumper Operator, Dozer Operator, Grader Operator, Crane Operator, Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Technician, Physiotherapist, Radiographer, and others.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the educational requirements specified for each post. Depending on the role, qualifications may range from Class 10 (Matriculation) and Class 12 (Intermediate) to diplomas or degrees in relevant fields like nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, radiography, and civil engineering.
Candidates should ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions before applying. While higher qualifications are acceptable, degrees obtained through distance or part-time modes will not be considered.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for document verification. Final selection will depend on merit and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
The CBT will be conducted for 90 minutes and will carry 100 marks. There will be no negative marking, and the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.

Application Fee

Candidates from Unreserved (UR), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 plus GST, totaling Rs 1180. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and departmental categories are exempted from paying the fee.
