The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has started the registration process for JEE Advanced 2026 for foreign nationals and OCI/PIO (F) candidates from April 6, 2026. The early registration window for this category will remain open until May 2, 2026. Eligible candidates who have qualified in JEE Mains can apply within this period. The deadline for fee payment across all categories is May 4, 2026.

According to the official information bulletin, candidates who are not Indian citizens, whether by birth or naturalization, are classified under the foreign national category. These candidates compete for supernumerary seats, which are capped at 10% of the total intake per stream. These seats are outside the standard reservation system outlined in the Constitution of India and are not divided into categories such as GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, or PwD. The absence of sub-divisions, including gender-based quotas, highlights the merit-based nature of this admission route.

For OCI/PIO candidates, eligibility is determined by the date of card issuance. Candidates who received their cards before March 4, 2021, can choose to be classified either as foreign nationals or be considered alongside Indian applicants.

• Now click on the link on the homepage.

• Complete the initial registration by providing the required basic details.

• Log in with your credentials and fill out the application form carefully.

• Upload the necessary documents as per instructions.

• Pay the application fee through the available online payment methods.

• Review all information and submit the application form.

• Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
