Description

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh (SBTET AP) has extended the application deadline for AP POLYCET 2026. Interested candidates can now submit their applications until April 9, 2026 through the official website.

The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) 2026 is scheduled to take place on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The exam is conducted for admission to diploma courses offered by polytechnic colleges across the state.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the following application fee:

  • Rs 400 for General and OBC candidates

  • Rs 100 for reserved category candidates

The fee must be paid during the online application process.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for AP POLYCET 2026, candidates must:

  • Have passed Class 10 (SSC)

  • Be from a recognized board

Only candidates who have successfully completed their Class 10 are eligible for admission to diploma programmes.

Follow these steps to complete the application:

  • First visit the official website.

  • Enter your hall ticket number, year of passing, and date of birth

  • Fill in the required details in the application form

  • Upload necessary documents

  • Pay the application fee

  • Submit the form

  • Download and save the confirmation page

Exam Pattern

The AP POLYCET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode. The question paper will include:

  • Mathematics: 50 questions

  • Physics: 40 questions

  • Chemistry: 30 questions

The exam will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking, and the total duration will be 2 hours.
