The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has announced admissions for the 19th batch of its Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) in Management. This two-year programme is tailored for working professionals seeking to enhance their leadership and managerial skills while continuing their careers.

Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode, shared at a media briefing that the programme has consistently helped professionals from diverse sectors develop leadership capabilities and adapt to evolving business challenges. He highlighted the growing importance of areas like data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) in contemporary management practices.

“The EPGP brings together participants from different industries and career stages. Our goal is to nurture globally aware, technologically proficient leaders capable of navigating change,” said Prof. Chatterjee.

Record Cohort in Previous Batch

The 18th batch of the EPGP had 672 participants, marking the largest Executive MBA cohort in the institute’s history. Women accounted for 29% of the batch, the highest female participation to date. Participants represented industries such as IT, consulting, banking and financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy, legal services, and aerospace, with work experience ranging from three to over 20 years.

Programme Structure and Learning Approach

The EPGP is delivered through a blended learning model, combining online coursework with campus immersion sessions. Participants engage in over 750 contact hours over two years.

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Business

• Business Simulations

The programme employs interactive learning methods such as case studies, assignments, presentations, and sessions with industry experts. Participants also attend three one-week campus immersions, with an optional international immersion to gain global exposure.

Admission Process

Prospective candidates are selected based on:

• Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT)

• Personal Interview

Applicants may also submit valid scores from CAT, GRE, or GMAT (valid within three years from the EMAT date). Upon successful completion, participants gain alumni status and join IIM Kozhikode’s network of over 15,000 professionals.
