The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released the provisional answer keys for the Group C and Group D recruitment exams on its official website. Candidates who appeared in these examinations can now download the answer keys in PDF format to verify their responses and estimate their scores before the official results are announced.

WBSSC Group D Answer Key 2026

The Group D exam was conducted on March 8, 2026, for 5,489 vacancies. The provisional answer keys have been released for all question paper series – A, B, C, and D. Candidates can access and download the PDFs directly from the WBSSC website.

Marking Scheme:

• Each correct answer carries 1 mark.

• No negative marking for incorrect answers.

• Total marks: 40.

For instance, if a candidate attempted 35 questions, answered 30 correctly, and 5 incorrectly, the total score will be 30, as incorrect answers do not reduce the marks.

Objection Window

The answer keys are provisional, allowing candidates to raise objections if discrepancies are found. The objection window is open in April 2026, and candidates can submit their concerns following the instructions on the official WBSSC portal.

WBSSC Group C Answer Key 2026

The Group C exam was conducted on March 1, 2026, for 723 vacancies. The provisional answer keys for all series are now available in PDF format on the WBSSC website. Notably, question number 31 was removed from the evaluation due to an error in the question paper.

• No negative marking
