Description

The Punjab School Education Board, through the State Council of Educational Research and Training Punjab, is set to release the PSTET 2026 result today, April 2, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scorecards and final answer key on the official website.

Exam Conducted in Two Shifts

The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 was held on March 15, 2026 in offline mode across multiple centres in Punjab:

  • Paper 1 (Primary Teachers): Classes I to V – Morning shift

  • Paper 2 (Elementary Teachers): Classes VI to VIII – Afternoon shift

Answer Key and Objection Process

  • Provisional answer key released: March 16, 2026

  • Objection window: March 17 to March 21, 2026

  • Final answer key: To be released along with results

Faster Result Processing

This year, results are being declared within 18 days of the exam, significantly faster compared to the previous cycle, which took around 80 days.

How to Download PSTET 2026 Scorecard

  • First visit the official website.

  • Now click on PSTET 2026 Result link.

  • Enter login details.

  • Download and save the scorecard.

Qualifying Criteria

  • General category: Minimum 60% marks

  • Reserved categories: Minimum 55% marks

Candidates who qualify will receive an eligibility certificate with lifetime validity, as per national teacher standards.
