The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has extended the registration deadline for JKCET 2026. Candidates seeking admission to BE and BTech programmes can now apply through the official website until the revised last date (tomorrow).

The board has also confirmed that fee payment and document upload must be completed within the same deadline.

Application Fee

• Rs.1,000 (to be paid online)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

• Have passed Class 12

• Studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)

• Secured 45% to 50% aggregate marks

Exam Pattern

• Total Questions: 180 MCQs

• Duration: 3 hours

• Mode: Offline/OMR-based (as per standard pattern)

The exam is conducted for admission into engineering colleges across Jammu & Kashmir.
