The Government of Andhra Pradesh has officially released the AP RTE Result for the 2026-27 academic year on March 26, 2026. Parents and guardians who applied under the Right to Education (RTE) scheme can now check the first phase lottery results online or receive notifications via SMS on their registered mobile numbers.

According to official figures, a total of 54,647 applications were submitted, with 54,016 applicants meeting the eligibility criteria. The scheme ensures that 25% of seats in private unaided schools are reserved for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, in accordance with RTE guidelines.

First Phase Result Access

The provisional first phase results are available on the official website. Parents are advised to verify their child’s selection and follow further instructions for admission and document verification. Note that the results are final only after completion of the verification and admission process. In case of website traffic issues, users should try accessing the site at a later time or from another device.

Details in the AP RTE Merit List

The merit list PDF contains essential information for selected students, including:

• District and mandal name

• Application ID

• Student’s name

• Parent/guardian name

• School code and school name

Parents should carefully check the details to avoid discrepancies during the admission process.

Admission and Document Verification

Selected students must report to the allotted schools between March 26 and April 7, 2026, for document verification and completion of admission formalities. Candidates need to bring original documents along with photocopies, including:

• Aadhaar card of the child and parents

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Income certificate (if applicable)

• Birth certificate of the child

It is essential that Aadhaar details match the application form. Under the scheme, no tuition fees are charged, as the government reimburses the schools directly.

Second Phase Result

The second phase of the AP RTE lottery result is scheduled for April 12, 2026. This phase will include candidates who were not selected in the first phase. Priority will be given to applicants residing within 1–5 km of the respective schools. Eligible candidates from the first phase who were not selected will automatically be considered for the second phase, with no new application required.
