Description
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the Class 10 Result 2026 on March 24, 2026, at around 1 PM. Students can access their results on the official websites.
Approximately 6.08 lakh students registered for the examination, which was conducted between February 21 and February 28, 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage reached 94.23%, showing a slight improvement compared to last year’s 93.06%.
Following the result declaration, the board has released important instructions for students who are not satisfied with their marks and wish to apply for scrutiny, obtain answer sheet copies, or opt for re-examination in selected subjects.
What is Scrutiny?
RBSE has clarified that scrutiny is not a full re-evaluation. It only involves:
Verification of total marks calculation
Checking for any unawarded marks
Correction of errors in mark transfer
There is no rechecking of answers during this process.
New Feature: Re-Examination Option
Starting this year, RBSE has introduced a re-examination facility for specific subjects:
English
Science
Mathematics
Students can first apply for scrutiny and then choose re-examination if required.
Application Process
Students can apply online through the RBSE official website or via e-Mitra centers.
Apply within 7 days of result declaration (normal fee)
An additional 3 days are allowed with a late fee
Offline applications are not accepted
Application Fees
Scrutiny fee: Rs 400 per subject
Late fee: Rs 800 per subject
Objection fee: Rs 100 per subject
Re-exam fee: Rs 100 per question
Important Rules
Scrutiny can be applied only once per subject
Marks may either increase or decrease after verification
Fees are non-refundable
Students must upload a valid ID (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.)
Correct contact details must be provided for updates
Access to Answer Sheets
After applying, students will receive login credentials via SMS or email. They can:
Download scanned copies of their answer sheets
View them within 5 days of upload
Note: The answer sheets will be available online for a limited duration.
Raising Objections
If discrepancies are found, students can submit objections online within 5 days of accessing their answer sheets. They must include:
Subject name
Question number
Valid supporting evidence
Late or offline objections will not be considered.
RBSE has advised students to apply for scrutiny carefully, as changes in marks occur only in limited cases. The board’s decision after scrutiny or re-examination will be final. Students are also encouraged to proceed with their academic plans instead of waiting for revised results.
