The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Class 12 Political Science Exam 2026 on March 23, 2026. The exam will take place in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The question paper will be divided into five sections A, B, C, D, and E with a total of 30 compulsory questions. Questions 1 to 12 will be multiple-choice, carrying one mark each. Questions 13 to 18 will be short-answer questions of 2 marks each, with responses limited to 50–60 words. Questions 19 to 23 will carry 4 marks each, requiring answers of around 100–120 words, and two of these will include internal choices. Questions 24 to 26 will be based on images, maps, and passages. The final section, questions 27 to 30, will carry 6 marks each, with answers expected to be within 170–180 words.
