Vacancy Details

Out of the total 1,060 vacancies, 827 are for Constable posts and 233 for Head Constable posts.

Constable posts include trades like Driver, Veterinary, Gardener, Washerman, Tailor, Barber, Carpenter, Waiter, and Nursing Orderly. Among these, 553 positions are for Drivers (male candidates only). Category-wise distribution for Constables is:

• UR: 383

• EWS: 64

• OBC: 191

• SC: 128

• ST: 61

Head Constable posts include Communication, Electrician, Steward, and Veterinary trades. Category-wise distribution for Head Constables is:

• UR: 105

• EWS: 20

• OBC: 62

• SC: 27

• ST: 19

Eligibility Criteria

• Constable posts: Minimum education of Class 10.

• Head Constable posts: Minimum education of 10+2.

Age limits generally range from 18 to 27 years, depending on the trade. Some positions require additional technical qualifications:

• Communication posts require a science background with relevant diplomas.

• Electrician posts require ITI certification.

• Driver posts require a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle licence.

Application Fee

• Rs. 100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.

• SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, and female candidates are exempt.

• Payment can be made online via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Selection Process

The recruitment process involves multiple stages:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Written Examination

• Skill/Typing Test (for applicable posts) – Typing speed requirement: 35 WPM (English) or 30 WPM (Hindi)

• Document Verification & Medical Examination
